5. Tutorials

You are invited to submit a proposal for a tutorial to be considered for inclusion in the 17th IFIP World Computer Congress. See Congress web-site:
http://www.wcc2002.orgTutorials will be arranged before and during the conference.
A tutorial consists of a full day of lectures on specific topics. Parallel tutorials will run from 9am to 12 noon with one break and resume at 1pm and end at 5pm with two afternoon breaks. Tutorial speakers will be given assistance with both their travel, lodging and conference registration fees. This will depend upon the number of participants in the Tutorial and the fee to attend it.
Proposal Topics:
You may propose a tutorial which connects to the conference streams.
Other proposals will also be considered.
Evaluation of proposals:
Each proposal will be evaluated by the tutorial committee whose decision will be based on the overall merit of the proposal and its relative importance to the overall congress. Acceptance and rejection notification will be sent by e-mail no later than January 1, 2002
