The Portuguese Computer Society (API) cooperation with IFIP is improving.

The TC5, TC6 and TC13 representatives have been very active on several IFIP events. TC5 organised a Conference in Portugal on DEC.2000 and TC6 will have another on OCT.2002.

API will be very honoured to host the 2003 IFIP Council.

The relationship with ECDL is being pursued.

Our Computer Society organized, as usual, the annual National Olympiads and participated on the "IOI 2001" in Finland.

API sponsored the annual Portuguese Computer Fair ("INFORPOR") and the annual National Multimedia Exhibition ("Multimedia XXI").

The plans to reactivate the "National Computer Congress" have been differed, due to financial and organisational issues.
