WCCE 2009 anounces: the openning concert will be with the brazilian vocal group Expresso 25.

SOFTEX at WCCE 2009
Brazil, for its size and cultural diversity, asks educational technology companies for a high level of excellence in the care of a qualified and distributed demand
in search of innovative solutions that generate results for both the improvement and management of education.
Joint initiative of the Apex-Brasil - Brazilian Agency for Promotion of Exports and Investments and SOFTEX - Association for Promotion of Brazilian Software Excellence - met Brazilian high-level companies
in this segment to promote their solutions in foreign trade.
Under WCCE, this joint initiative will be collaborating for the development of business, featuring Brazilian software companies to potential trading partners and international buyers.
This will contribute to a movement of direct action of these companies in expanding their market and the divulgation of which is best in Brazil in educational technology abroad.
NASA at WCCE 2009
We are happy to annouce the NASA Panel at WCCE Teleconference July 27 - 1:45 pm, which will address some impacts and trends of NASA research on Technology in Education. The panelists and their speeches are:

Unesco Brazil at WCCE 2009
In the third day of WCCE2009 (2907, 11:45 a.m.), there will be the panel "Information and Communication Technology (ICT) for Education" presented by Guilherme Canela Godoi, coordinator of Communication and Information of UNESCO representative in Brazil.
The central theme will be the introduction of information technology in education in the school environment and how it can go beyond its use merely as tools in the teaching-learning process.
The theme of the panel and the support of UNESCO to WCCE2009, converge to the subject of the 9th World Conference on Computers in Education.

As the WCCE 2009 expects to receive people from many countries, staff will be available to provide language support in English, Portuguese, Spanish, French, Italian, and Chinese.

Call for Contributions
The conference is open to everyone involved in education and training. Additionally contributors from technological, societal, business and political fields outside education are invited to make relevant contributions within the theme: Education and Technology for a Better World.
We ask for contributions to a range of activities, not only traditional papers and panels.
